This is a great chance to:

How It Works:

1. Review the list below of available undergraduate classes open for sit-ins.

2. Register in advance - spots are limited!

3. Check in a few minutes before class at the Admissions Office.

Available Courses for Sit-In:

• Foundations of Teaching and Learning (CEDUC 1352) 

  • Mon/Wed, 11:10–12:25 PM - Intro to PK-12 education concepts and teaching principles.

• Teaching Language Arts and Literature (CEDUC 3415)

  • Monday, 8:00–10:30 AM - Explore literature for children/young adults and literacy teaching strategies.

• (Virtual Option) Developmental Experiences in Mathematics and Science (CEDUC 3373)

  • Monday, 6:45–9:15 PM - Learn how to create math and science learning environments for young children.

• Children’s Literature and Social Emotional Development (CAPPL 3600)

  • Tue/Fri, 9:35–10:50 AM - Study literature and social-emotional learning; complete a creative project.

• Disciplinary Literacies (CEDUC 2402)

  • Mon/Wed, 9:35–10:50 AM - Focus on reading, writing, and comprehension strategies for grades 5–12.

• Geometry, Measurement, and Data

  • Tuesday, 4:00–6:30 PM - Explore teaching elementary math, including geometry, measurement, and statistics.
