George Packer, staff writer for The New Yorker, will talk at Lesley University Thursday, Feb. 18. He will deliver a lecture entitled “We’re Not That Good Anymore: Why Changing Presidents Wasn’t Enough.”

Packer is author of the much-lauded 2005 book The Assassin’s ... More ». His recent book is Interesting Times: Writings from a Turbulent Decade, which takes the title of his New Yorker blog.

This lecture is free and open to the public. It is part of Lesley University’s Centennial Year celebration.
