More »School is supported by the Museum's Center for Children's Learning, which has as its mission “to make visible the way that children imagine, design, invent and create using the tools of the arts and sciences.”

The Scarsdale Public Schools are a kindergarten through grade 12 system just to the north of New York City, serving about 4700 students. The Scarsdale Reggio Emilia Study Group has been guided by Dr. Lella Gandini for the last three years.

More »maidens to sinister sheiks and gun-wielding "terrorists"--along the way offering devastating insights into the origin of these stereotypical images, their development at key points in US history, and why they matter so much today. Shaheen shows how the persistence of these images over time has served to naturalize prejudicial attitudes toward Arabs and Arab culture, in the process reinforcing a narrow view of individual Arabs and the effects of specific US domestic and international policies on their lives.

Description: The Young Artist Residency Program (YAR) at The Art Institute of Boston (AIB) at Lesley University is designed for high school students who will be entering their junior or senior year in the Fall of 2010. This intensive program of four-weeks of classes and art-making carries 6 college credits and is ... More »designed to offer a professional art college experience while living on campus. It's a great opportunity to test out AIB as a college choice. Students live in Lesley University residence halls minutes from Harvard Square in Cambridge and study art with college professors and graduates of AIB in our Boston studios, just across the Charles River. As part of the curriculum, weekend and evening activities are designed to highlight the historic and cultural significance of Boston through visits to galleries, museums, and artist studios.
